WE INVITE YOU TO ATTEND OUR

“Just Peachy” Peer Support

Early parenting is one of the most difficult times in anyone’s life.  Parenthood can be a double-sided experience. One side is the joy, happiness, pride, and love we expected, while the other is the sleep deprivation, frustration, confusion and self-doubt we perhaps didn’t expect at all!  Our goal is to embrace the happy times with the sad, the victorious times with the challenging.  We acknowledge that as parents we are all just trying our best to be “good enough” – and that’s okay.  It’s easy to feel alone, lonely and isolated.  Our “Just Peachy” groups provide an environment of understanding, compassion, acceptance and support.  Please read our group “Atmosphere Guide” for how we all best support each other through times of success and challenge!

Would you like to join us?

Bring your babies, or come by yourself – whatever suits you on the day.  Tea, coffee, and morning tea are provided.  And remember… if this is your first ever “Just Peachy” group, please know we are here waiting for you with big smiles and compassionate support!

Please note:  Our Peachy Parent Peer Support groups at this stage are “mothers only”. This ensures all mothers, in partnerships or otherwise, feel safe and heard by our Peer Workers, themselves mother’s with shared lived-experiences.

Just Peachy is available at all of our locations – Caboolture, Nundah and Mount Gravatt!

Peach Tree Perinatal Wellness respectfully and wholeheartedly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which our families, staff, volunteers and Board work, gather and connect. We pay respect to the First Nations People and their Elders past, present and emerging and recognise their ongoing spiritual connection and relationship to this country’s land, waters, winds and community. We are honoured to journey with the First Australians on the path to healing and reconciliation.
