Peer Support Group – Babes & Bumps

Join us at Bumps and Babes, a welcoming environment for pregnant parents and those with little ones up to 12 months old. This safe space, hosted in our baby-friendly group room, is designed for you to connect with other parents who are at a similar stage to you, share experiences and find support.

Bumps & Babes provides a supportive environment for open and honest conversations to share your thoughts, feelings, challenges, and victories. Whether that be diving into discussions about the realities of pregnancy, navigating the first twelve months of parenthood or celebrating the triumphs big and small, it is a space to find meaningful connections and a supportive network.

Peer Support Group – Toddler Time

We get toddlers can be energetic and enthusiastic in their play!  Toddler Time is a dedicated session for mothers to receive peer support while their toddlers play in our toddler friendly space.   Toddler Time is facilitated by our peer support workers, who hold space for honest and real conversations about our parenting experiences.

We understand that emotional and mental health challenges don’t just happen in the 12 month postnatal period.  Toddler Time is a place where we can discuss and navigate the unique joys and challenges of our life with a toddler and make  meaningful connections.

This is a peer support group for mothers with toddlers aged between 1 – 5 years of age.

Peer Support – Parenting After Loss

Our Parenting After Loss group is being held on the last Monday of every month at our Caboolture centre.

This group has been created from a place of lived experience, meaning that our facilitators have themselves lived through parenting after loss. You will be led by them in a safe, non-judgemental and caring environment. We’ve created a space where people going through this challenging and emotional experience can connect, cope and share together.

You are more than welcome to bring along a partner, support person and/or your children with you to this group (but please note, you only need to make one booking whether you’re bringing a support person and/or child or not).

Community Group

Our Community groups are casual get togethers to connect with other parents.   These groups are open to any mother, father, parent, grandparent or carer who is caring for a child aged 0 – 5 years of age, and is seeking a friendly and engaging group to meet other parents and children.

This is an inclusive community group where we welcome anyone in the pregnancy stage or caring for children aged 0 – 5 years.

Crafternoon

An afternoon just to enjoy craft! We spend so much time doing fun things for our kids that sometimes we need to take time for ourselves. Each week we do a different craft activity while bub socialises with the other kids. You are also welcome to bring your own project to work on eg crochet, cross stitch, scrapbooking.

  • Blowing bubbles
  • Playing board games
  • Making balloon animals … or
  • Something else amazing that you come up with as a group!

Yoga

Yoga and mindfulness have proven benefits to our overall health and wellbeing, not to mention it’s a wonderful reason to enjoy a morning out each week!  Our Yoga sessions are run by Kylie from Humble Heart Yoga and aim to combine gentle movement with peaceful breathing.  Bringing attention to our bodies and our breath is a great way to bring yourself to the present moment, gain awareness, and connect to both yourself and your child.

Please note:   We welcome all parents who have children aged between 0 – 5 years.  While we do at times have a Child Buddy to play with children, each session runs alongside the noise and distraction of the little ones.

Peachy Village

Peachy Village is our monthly Peer Support Group welcoming all parents and parents-to-be of all gender expressions and identities, from pregnancy until their youngest child turns six years old.

This isn’t a playgroup — it’s a supportive space to connect deeply, share experiences, and support one another through the joys and challenges of parenthood. Children are absolutely welcome to attend alongside their parents.

🧡 Inclusivity note: At Peachy Village, inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do. We recognise that language can play an important role in helping people feel emotionally and mentally safe, seen, and respected. We encourage inclusive language, including refraining from unnecessary gendered language where possible, and we honour everyone’s right to identify with the pronouns that feel right for them.

Peachy Village is a space where all parents and parents-to-be are welcomed, valued, and supported exactly as they are.
