What is the Sunshine Parenting Program (SPP)?

• A Peer-led 6-week group workshop aimed at bringing parents together in a friendly and understanding environment to share and discuss issues impacting their early parenting experience.
• For mothers (aged 18+) currently in the postnatal period (baby under 12 months), who may be experiencing some challenges with their mental wellbeing.
• Embraces those experiences of emotional wellbeing hardship often associated with parenting using a parent-centered approach.
• Is founded on a strengths-based and re(dis)covery-oriented model of care to establish parenting confidence and self-esteem.

Participants can self-refer or be referred by a health professional.
